I would thoroughly recommend you check out Terry Pratchett’s “Mort”, and also “Guards Guards”… They’re still early in the series, but introduce new characters and are superb! =)
My next will be “Guards Guards” but then I’ll definitely check out “Mort”! Thanks for the recommendation.

Mort is a good one if you like the character of Death, as it really opens up his world and makes him more….’human’. But Guards Guards is an amazingly well plotted pastiche on traditional high fantasy novels! =D
